Conceive and design - sculpture appearance- make up mould(case mold) - produce production tooling -fill the mold with wax - remove the mold and mend the wax - make up mould (finished mold) - remove the wax at the high temperature - heat up the mould – heat to dissolve by furnace – cast to be mould – inspect after removing the mold devastatingly - remove the shell and sand - tool by machine and incise - polish & grind – inspect ( surface treatment and packing inspection, etc. )
1.The dewaxing casting process produces a three-dimensional object of fine art. Every product is formed from its own unique mold and without duplication.
2. As the mold could not be re-used and much craftwork is handmade, that is way the product cost is higher.
3.Moulding: coating lithoid slurry，adhering lithoid powder after dipping slurry. Then drying in the constant temperature and humidity chamber for about 7~10 hours. It needs coating for three and a half times (five and a half times for stainless steel). The molding could only be used once. It will be destroied after moulding.
4.The advantage is that the product could present three-dimensional effect, which metal couldn’t achieve. |
